DUF6 Conversion Project Uses Technology to Reduce Hazards

Over the past several months we have been working with the Department of Energy helping to create a more effective method of internal tank inspection. We worked directly with engineers at the Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride (DUF6) Conversion Plants in both Paducah, Kentucky and Portsmouth, Ohio. We were able to create a procedure using technology that improved safety and increased performance, saving both time and money! Find out how we eliminated the need to send personnel into a confined, highly corrosive hydrofluoric acid (HF) tank.
